When you're down emotionally (It's a winter thing!!), try foods with high magnesium. Science tells us there's a link between the two. So, bananas, brown rice, spinach, figs, avocado, Brazil nuts, pumpkin seeds and mackerel ... where are you? I'm heading to the market now.



If you've let yours go in a garage sale, you can always rent a pair. You may not be the cat's meow on the ice, but take it slow and remind yourself how much fun you used to have! And there's no shame in having someone hold your hand (or holding to the bar along the wall!) if you're not as confident as you used to be!


Load sand into your garden fertilizer spreader before the next storm and leave it parked in the garage ready to go. Have sand, will spread! Ice, no longer a problem! Safe walking for everyone!


Now that the holidays are winding down, it's time to reestablish your regular routines. Walking the dogs, exercise, that healthy salad for a snack ... you can do this! Set the example for your family, and soon, your family life will be back on track. All aboard!
