For your kiddos, not you! You may look forward to the end of summer, but your kids less so. Organize loot bags with other parents or just you and yours. Call it a Return-to-School Party, with party snacks and fun, back-to-school supplies to pass out. You'll be the coolest parent around.

Spring cleaning is all the rage, but you can schedule a cleaning day anytime! Summer tracks in a lot of the outdoors, and now is a good time to make a clean sweep of it, pun intended. Take one day or spread it over two weekends. Your home will be better for it!

Do something special for you! Visit a farmer's market (or your local grocery store) and bring home fresh fruit. Prepare a fruit bowl, make your way to the patio, and embrace the fruitiness of life! You will feel renewed!

Kick off a day of planning, setting goals, and HAVING FUN. You can do this with friends or with your kiddos - even your spouse. Decide what you want to do over the week and then DO IT. Most of all, HAVE A GOOD TIME.

Make it an August project to read a full book or magazine. Yes, cover to cover. Fiction, historical, technical ... even a Reader's Digest works. You will pick up new ideas and words along the way and become a better you!
