Drink more water in the August heat! Also, remember, it's coolest in the mornings and late evenings. When possible, plan your outside times then!

Frozen water bottles are great for ice packs. Some key locations to apply them in the heat: behind your ear, at the bottom of your throat, on your wrist, inside your elbow, and behind your knees. You will feel a difference immediately!

You want to stay fit even in summer (or especially in summer), but the heat can be a killer. Try bike rides or jogging outside of peak sun hours.  Early morning or late evening can make all the difference. Your body will thank you!

You're running inside justfor a moment ... nope! Kids and pets cannot be left in the car on a hot day. Double check that the car is empty of people and pets each time you exit. Safety in the heat is your number one concern!

Summer's heat can dry your eyes, and being outside is an invitation for pollen and other irritants to invade your vision. Sterile eye drops can provide instant relief. Have a bottle with you the next time you head out for the day!
