Many of us still write checks, but likely we all have extra checkbook wallets. Toss the stuff inside, because your old checkbook wallet is perfect for organizing coupons. Next time you head to the store, no coupon will go unused!

Hot (or cold) air falling from unused registers can create uncomfortable drafts. Use clear, removable weatherstripping (White Lightning SEASONSeal is one brand.) to seal clear plastic flowerpot drip trays to the registers. Cut or shape as needed, then remove when it's time to run the system once again. Comfort level improved!
Dishwashers are great, but they also cause kitchen utensils to sit in hot water. If something can rust, it will. A toothbrush and vinegar (apple-cider vinegar works fine) will clear the rust. Soak it overnight if you have to. After the dishwasher finishes, be sure to open your dishwasher door a bit even if you run the heated dry cycle. Your dishes will thank you.
Gooey gum on your shoe is gross. At the first opportunity, drop the shoe in a disposable shopping bag and set in the freezer. Fifteen minutes is enough. Use a dull knife to pry the brittle gum from your shoe. Job done!
Plastic wipe containers are resealable to keep your wet wipes wet. Once empty, wash the plastic container (dry thoroughly!) and tuck in the contents of a box of dry tissues. They will pop up as normal but can be sealed away with a click of the lid and remain 100 percent sanitary.
