Stay social in September ... take a class at your local civic center; play a board game with friends; volunteer to help at your animal shelter or senior center. Your connection with others can be your bridge from summer to fall. Stay connected for a happier, fuller fall season!

For your kitchen sink, anyway! A stainless sink strainer can keep sticky food particles out of your drain lines (and catch that diamond ring if it slips off your finger). Buy an extra and rotate them through the diswasher! Never dismember your pipes or put your hand in your disposer to search for something ... catch it in the sink strainer instead! You can pick up one on Amazon for only a few dollars here.

Now that the kids are in school, it's easy to look for times to sit back and relax ... and relax. DON'T DO IT! Exercise not only maintains a healthy body, it keeps your brain at its best, too! So, train your brain ON THE TREADMILL! (or any form of exercise you wish!)

Now that the weather's cooled, we can finally get out to trim the back fence that was too much in summer's pummeling heat. Don't forget eye protection. A face shield might seem overkill, but your eyes will thank you. Sticks and stones from a weed trimmer CAN break our bones ... or at least our eyes. Keep yours safe!

Sink cleanup can be brutal. To make it a little easier, wipe grease or oil from the inside (and outside) of pans and cookware with a paper towel and dispose of it in the trash. The less grease in your sink, the less scrubbing afterward! Life made easier!
