We all love pie. Yum! Determine to make one from scratch this season! It's simple: apples, sugar, and butter with a dash of cinnamon. I prefer a mix of Granny Smith, Macintosh, and Gala. Just don't use Delicious, as they will turn to mush when you bake your pie. You can search out a recipe on Google by asking for "simple apple pie recipe" and get started. Your family will thank youi!

Having an "off" day? When life is unkind to you, turn the day on its head by making a point to be extra kind to someone you meet. A clerk, a waitress, your spouse, or your child. Go out of your way to make THEIR day better, and it will make YOUR day better, too! Give it a try!

Well, of course they do, but for your fall health regimen, pretend they don't. Unless you're lugging something particularly heavy or climbing over 8 floors, walk! Your good health will thank you!

Or, we as often say, setting boundaries. Be sure to make time for yourself, even if you have to tell others no. Find your boundary, determine that others may not overstep it, and stand firm. Your new fence will make life better for YOU!

Halloween is over and Thanksgiving is only weeks away. To remain stress-free, cleanse your mind from negativity and harsh thoughts. Listen to what your body tells you. If this seems "holistic" to you, remember that you must come first. You must help yourself before you can help those around you during this busy holiday season. Eyes closed, put the day aside, and come out on the other side refreshed and recharged!
