Peanut butter cookies and sticky measuring cups go together like, well, peanut butter and spoons. However, a spritz of cooking spray, and your peanut butter will release with no bother! Try it with other sticky items, also. Honey. Butter. Molasses. It works every time!

Ice watering down your coffee? (Or tea, soda, or other beverage?) You can freeze your favorite beverage in ice trays. Pop them in your drink, and you'll never have a watered-down beverage again. And yes, this works for carbonated drinks as well! Enjoy!

Journaling is more than just a teen angst thing. It can also help track your activities and keep you focused. When you have an off, empty-feeling day, flip back to the previous week and ask what you did then. Use that to jump-start your day into something VITAL and PRODUCTIVE. So, get your journal on and make the most of every day!

1. Portion that can of tomato paste into zipper bags and freeze them. 2. Seal excess pasta in a glass jar and store it in the freezer. Measurement marks on the size can provide perfect serving sizes. 3. Chop rosemary and freeze in olive oil. A plastic ice tray works well. 4. Pasta sauce in freeze trays makes the perfect serving for one. When frozen, pop out and drop in a freezer bag. Meal shortcuts accomplished!

Is February feeling out of control? We can become disconnected when colder temperatures force us inside. It helps to set smaller goals to boost our sense of self-fulfillment. It can be a new skill (such as cake decorating) or establishing a daily exercise routine (start small) to give yourself a feeling of accomplishment. Better days will soon be on the way!
