Tomorrow is November 3, the day we decide all state and federal elections including the U.S. President!! Don't forget to take time to vote. If you voted early, good on'ya! You are the best of the best, no matter who wins the election!!

This is traditionally the day to trick-or-treat. If you choose to go out, attach small, disposable flashlights to each person's costume. It won't matter if they make it home, and your child will be visible even if there are no streetlights around.

Your refrigerator has run long hours during the summer season. Now's the time to vacuum the coils for your best (and cheapest!) winter service. You may be able to get to the coils from the front, but if not, moving your fridge will be a good time to sweep and dust the entire recess where it lives. Kitchen clean! Good job!

There's nothing fun about shampooing a pet during cold or wet weather. You can stretch the time between shampoos using baking soda for a temporary dry shampoo. Sprinkle it in, let it sit for a few moments, then brush away the oil and odor. Doggie clean!.

Places like AutoZone or other automotive stores will often use their codereader (at no charge) to decipher why your check engine light is on. Your light may mean something as simple as a faulty gas cap. More serious problems need to addressed by a trusted expert at an auto repair shop.
