As we near the end of March, think back on how mindful your March has been. Literally, mindfulness means to commit fully to being present in each moment. At mealtimes, focus on what you're eating. In conversation, listen to those around you. With your kids, they become the center. If you've done this more often than not, congrats on a successful Mindful March!

Not INTO your food, but FROM it! Adding lemon, herbs, and spices can punch up the flavor. You won't even miss the salt. (Chili seasoning is one of my favorites!)

A plastic poncho is a great substitute for an umbrella. It can fit in a pocket, and if it does rain (March, after all!) you can keep your arms inside and keep EVERYTHING dry! Keep enjoying the outdoors, rain or shine!

Use today to notice something besides your phone or computer. As much as possible, make this a device-free day. Pay attention to the sky, your pets, your children, and how you feel inside. Game changer, for sure!

Cereal may be your thing, but change up your breakfast with a vegetable. Fried eggplant (or tomato!) or mixed steamed veggies! Stir in some fried egg, if you want, but a few mushrooms or cucumber slices will give you a fresh start to the day!
