Find a spare corner in your house to establish a reading nook. A beanbag, a variety of books ... let your kids catch you using it, and they'll want to join you! Good Reads can be a good place to start your reading list!

Green is keen on St. Patty's Day! Whip up a batch of green cookies (or maybe green milk for a treat). Food coloring does the trick. (Green scrambled eggs, anyone? Lol!)

What's a baby seal called? A PUP! Print off pictures of baby animals and glue them to index cards. On the reverse, write what they're called. Here's some you probably know: duckling; kitten, kid, calf, piglet, foal, gosling. Here's some you may not: cria (alpaca); eaglet (eagle); leveret (hare); hoglet (hedgehog); kit (fox); eyas (hawk); shoat (another term for a piglet). See how much fun you can have? Search for these: jelly fish, beaver, platypus, swan ... and more! Have fun! (Your kiddos will!)

Cloth sneakers are a sign of spring, but wet socks are no fun. Buy a can of spray waterproofing and get to it! (And carry a spare pair of socks just in case!)

Are you ready for summer swim time? Leaving a bite of food on your plate may not seem like much, but small amounts lead to big calorie savings. The trimmer you is on the way!
