After the holiday season that permeates the final weeks of December, it's easy to feel that everyone is off in a different direction. Let people know your interests and things you would like to plan. Offer to set something up, and people will be relieved to jump aboard. January jumpstarted!

Like it or not, we've finished 2022, and Uncle Sam is keeping a tally. You can start gathering your information now. If you think you might receive a refund, early filers get their money back quickest. If you had an income windfall in 2022, you have until Jan. 15 to prepay your taxes for the fourth quarter with no penalty. 


Baking soda is great for cleaning, but too much seems to always tumble out of the box. A fresh salt shaker is the perfect answer. You can sprinkle out as much or as little as you need. Problem solved!


You still have time to prepare for birthdays, anniversaries, and other occasions for the upcoming year. Visit a quality card shop and get a few wedding cards, sympathy cards, thank you cards and anything that makes you smile. Keep them in a desk drawer, and when the occasion arises, you are ready to go! Mail away!
