For fine chains on necklaces or bracelets, cut a straw to length, thread the chain through, and clasp it on the outside. The chain will remain untangled and ready for your next outing!

I don't mean to eat everything in the pantry, but when a bleak January morning has you down, have a serving of your favorite carb-filled food. Your bleak morning will be blasted away! That cupcake (or ravioli or avocado toast) will pick you up and help you through the day.

Create a file (a manila folder or large envelope works well) to collect IRS documents from 2022. Drop everything in when it comes in the mail. W-2s, 1099s, mortgage interest statements. Don't throw away anything even if it seems unimportant. It might be the one document you need come April, and you'll have it in your 2022 file!

Hostess gifts are vital to party attendance. Keep 3-4 on hand (buy when you see them, not when you need them) and replenish when you are down to one. When you are running late, you never have to "stop off" to get something on the way!
