If you like the idea of natural cleaning supplies, here's one you can try. You'll need water and rubbing alcohol in equal amounts (about 3/4 cup), a dozen drops of essential oil (adjust to your liking), and a squirt of dish soap. Mix in a sprayer bottle, spray, and enjoy the aroma!


White toothpaste can be great for other uses besides your teeth. Use the plain variety to eliminate water, coffee, or soap scum stains. In a pinch, it can patch small holes in a wall or brighten yellowed piano keys. Use it creatively to make your life better!


Ever accidentally marked the wrong thing with a highlighter? You can remove fresh highlighter marks using lemon juice and a cotton swab and watch them fade away. It will also work on older highlighter marks, but they do become more difficult the longer they are on the paper.
