Small nails can be pressed into the wall to hang lightweight items. Hold something hard over the nailhead and press with an even, steady pressure.



Make your passwords a sentence, such as, “I loved to play in the sand when I was 12,” or “I kissed for the first time at 17.” Always include a number. Then spell out one word, making your password “IltpitsandwIw12” or “Ikftfirstta17.” You’ll remember them every time. Don’t forget your uppercase and lowercase letters!


Take a risk, even if it’s small. If it doesn’t work out, you haven’t lost much, but if it does, you’ve learned confidence in an unfamiliar situation.


Give new situations time before making emotional decisions. Whether relocating or in a new relationship, expect to be unsettled for a time. Things usually work themselves out.


Realize that what’s done is done. Never say, “If only . . .” when you give advice. Offer your support and move forward.
