We know that April in the northern hemisphere is when new growth erupts, but where does the month get its name? One theory is from the Latin aperie or apricus, which means to open, or sunny. Another theory is from Aphrodite, the Greek goddess of beauty (Spring, anyone? ... beautiful!). Wherever the name originated, WE LOVE APRIL!
