Left your shears in the compost pit? Forgot your pliers on the patio? Try vinegar to remove the rust. Soak in a vinegar-water mixture (3-1) overnight, then scrub with a wire brush and rinse. Repeat for stubborn rust. Wear rubber gloves to keep your hands from taking on a rusty "tan"!
